There are no published papers on the Orthocor device for the long term treatment of osteoarthritis. There are papers on PEMF (pulsed electronic magnetic field-the technology that Orthocor uses) for soft tissue swelling and pain showing positive effects, but this is very different from chronic osteoarthritis.
Both devices have serious limitations as far as being cost effective and a user friendly, where the treatment of osteoarthritis is concerned.
